Michael Smith

CEO & President

Michael Smith began his career in telecommunications in 1981 with the Bell System working with Mountain Bell, American Bell, AT&T, Lucent Technologies and Avaya over a 25 year span. His successful roles as Colorado Territory Account Executive, Mountain States Emerging Market Offers Manager, Colorado New Business Sales Director, and Southwestern US Regional Business Partner Channel Director provided him the leadership, management and communication skills, as well as the technological expertise and business partner relationships, needed to lead Peak Communication to the top of the telecommunication industry. Mike continues to build on this experience, incorporating new communications technology as Peak Communication provides solutions that “Elevate Your Business Above the Rest.”

Mark Wagner

Vice President of Services

Mark Wagner began his career in telecommunications in 1980 with the Bell System, working with Mountain Bell and AT&T, Expanets, Rimrock Technologies, and Cross Telecom. He made his mark as a Business Services leader serving as Northern Colorado Communication Systems Engineer, Enterprise Systems Implementation Specialist, and Communication Systems Project Manager. Mark’s keys to success are his unparalleled technical expertise and understanding of the Avaya Enterprise product line, as well as his excellent customer relationship skills. These skills and his leadership have been a key factor in Peak Communication’s success with yearly customer satisfaction measurements, as well as Peak’s ongoing business growth and success.

Nicolette Lopez

Office Manager

Nicolette Lopez joined Peak in 2006. Her success can be attributed to her positive attitude which shines through in all that she does for Peak. Her back office skills include Peak’s customer records management, Tigerpaw CRM, and Quickbooks Accounting software management, which enables her to provide excellent customer and vendor services as she continues to be a key player in Peak Communication’s success.

Ralph joined Peak in 2005. Ralph’s roles at Peak have evolved over the years beginning as Peak’s Human Resources Manager, Marketing & Sales Support Manager, Tiger Paw CRM Specialist, IP Office Certified Sales Specialist, and Peak’s Customer Service Advocate. His overall success can be attributed to his fantastic communications skills as he manages all of these areas of the business.

Matthew Sippel

IP Office Technician

Matthew began his career with Peak Communication in 2008. He has consistently achieved excellent results with the company for customer service and product knowledge. Lester Embree

VoIP Solutions Technician

Lester joined Peak Communication in 2013. He has considerable knowledge of the Avaya Aura Communication Manager, Call Center-Call Management Reporting Systems, Oaisys Call Recording and Avaya Data Networking solutions. He continues to expand his product experience on the Avaya IP Office and FortiVoice Business Communication system solutions while providing remote and on-site technical services to all of Peak’s customers, delivering excellent customer satisfaction ratings on a consistent basis.

Josh Englert

Senior Sales Consultant

Josh joined Peak in 2015 and brings tremendous experience in all areas of Unified Communications. His role at Peak as a Senior Business Communications consultant is a result of his 10 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, as well as the numerous Avaya Certifications as an Avaya Certified Sales and Design Specialist on the Avaya IP Office and Avaya Scopia Video Solutions.
